Dr Kate McSweeney (Principal Psychologist)
Since the completion of her Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree in 2006, Kate has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private clinics, public psychiatric services and research settings. Although her diverse professional experiences have enabled her to develop competence in the assessment and treatment of a broad range of psychological problems, Kate has a longstanding interest in the management of anxiety and mood problems across the lifespan. She is committed to providing client-centred, evidence-based treatments, and she is a Board Approved Supervisor. **Note that Kate is unable to see new clients at the current time.
Ms Olivia Clayton
Olivia is a registered psychologist passionate about supporting clients to develop meaningful goals and live life more consistently with their personal values. She works collaboratively with clients in order to tailor her approach to the individual, utilising a variety of evidence-based psychological treatments including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques. Olivia is available to see clients for assessment and treatment of: anxiety and related disorders, depression and other mood disorders, adjustment issues and stress problems.
Mr Phil Weeks
Phil is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. He holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology and is a clinical psychology registrar at Mansfield Psychology. Phil is passionate about supporting people of all ages with a wide variety of life and mental health concerns. He is dedicated to providing gold-standard assessments and evidence based treatments. Phil aims to meet your needs with understanding and genuine care. At present, he has limited capacity to take on short-term clients.
Ms Sally Hanratty
Sally is a registered Psychologist specialising in working with children and young people up to the age of 15 years. Sally has particular experience in working within educational settings having worked in a range of schools across the public and private sectors. Additionally, Sally has extensive experience in working with families, in a range of roles, over a period of 15 years. In these roles Sally has enjoyed working with a diverse range of students and helping families with a variety of issues, including grief and loss, family breakdown, learning difficulties, social and behavioural problems, self-harm, school refusal and bullying. Sally currently works at Lauriston Girls’ School, Howqua Campus on a part time basis as the Howqua Psychologist and divides the rest of her work time as a private practitioner in primary schools in the Mansfield/Alexandra area and in our practice. Additionally, Sally provides assessment services to school aged children and young people with a focus on the assessment and diagnosis of developmental and educational concerns (including learning disability).
